PICASSO in the CUBE (2015)

PICASSO in the CUBE
| political passion |

"PICASSO in the CUBE" is a multimedia installation inspired by Picasso's political passion. This passion is shown by three emblematic paintings: "Guernica" (1937), "Figura de mujer inspirada en la guerra de espana" (1937), "Massacre in Corea" (1951).
Inside a cube with a multiprojection, every artwork is rielaborated in an evocative way. This enlighten the historical context, the compositive reasons and moreover the strong, symbolic message. The explicit denunciation expressed by Picasso against the Franchist regime and the war crimes comes to life, involving the public and emphatizing the message.
